Nathan graduated summa cum laude from the University of Evansville in May of 2012 with a degree in Business Administration and concentrations in Economics and Finance. At the University of Evansville, Nathan was active in a number of organizations including Student Christian Fellowship and Students in Leadership. As co-chairman of the Orientation Leaders, he helped incoming freshman students and their parents’ transition from high school to college. He also served on the Executive Council of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity for two years as Treasurer and Pledge Educator. In addition, Nathan was the recipient of several awards, including Greek Man of the Year, True Gentleman of the Year, Friendship & Loyalty Award, and Pledge Educator of the Year.
Nathan joined Donaldson Capital Management in October of 2012 and serves as Portfolio Manager, Analyst, and Partner. Previously, he worked as a Contract Specialist for the United States Navy at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Crane, Indiana. Crane chose Nathan to be the recipient of the Co-op of the Year Award. Prior to his work at Crane, Nathan interned at the First National Bank of Odon as a Loan Officer Assistant and owned his own auto detailing business from 2006 to 2009.
Nathan and his wife, Courtney, live in Avon, Indiana, near Indianapolis. Nathan and Courtney are active at their church and have two children, Riley and Levi. In his free time, Nathan enjoys riding his bike, drinking iced coffee, cooking new recipes, cheering on the Indianapolis Colts, and making his wife smile. He earned the CFA designation in 2017.
