Matthew Effinger joined Donaldson Capital Management in 2025 and serves as an Associate Investment Advisor.
Matt began his professional journey in 2010 at SIGNARAMA Evansville, where he spent more than eleven years as a Marketing Consultant, building strong relationships with local families and business owners. It was here that he discovered how much he enjoyed helping people solve problems and plan for the future.
In 2022, Matt followed that passion into financial advising. He served clients at Hentrup Financial Group and later at Liberty Wealth Services. Over the past two decades, he has built a career rooted in understanding people and helping them work toward their goals. Since becoming an advisor, he has carried those values into his work, guiding families and clients with a servant’s heart.
Beyond the Office
Matt lives on Evansville’s east side with his fiancée, Johnna, and they are excited to welcome their first child, a baby boy, in April. They enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, cheering on the Indiana Hoosiers, and making memories with their two dogs, Micco and Leo.
Matt is an avid snowboarder, mountain biker, golfer, hiker, and camper. He completed Ironman Louisville in 2017 and is currently training for a Hyrox competition this fall.
