Brandon Roop, CFP®, CRPS®, joined Donaldson Capital Management (DCM) in 2010 and serves as VP of Investment Advisory, Senior Investment Advisor, and Partner. In his previous role as VP of Retirement Plan Services, he developed and managed DCM’s Retirement Plan Services division. Respected for his industry expertise, Brandon currently participates on the Schwab Retirement Plan Advisory Panel. In this role, he offers insight and feedback to help Schwab improve its platform and retirement plan solutions. Additionally, he leads a team of Investment Advisors to guide individual investors successfully along their financial journey. Brandon has also served as a key decision-maker on DCM’s Investment Policy Committee.

Brandon graduated from Wabash College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He played football for Wabash, and in addition to being elected Team Captain, Brandon was named All-Conference Honorable Mention. He credits much of his discipline and work ethic to the extensive training required of a collegiate athlete.

After graduation, Brandon joined ACES Power Marketing as an Energy Trader. While at ACES, Brandon attended the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, earning his MBA with an emphasis in Finance in 2011.

In October 2013, Brandon completed the CFP Board requirements and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional. Then, in December 2016, he completed the Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM professional designation program. As a part of this accomplishment, Brandon has spearheaded DCM’s launch into the critical realm of pre-retirement saving through company retirement plans.
