Marty Coursey, CFP®, joined DCM in 2022 as Associate Investment Advisor.
Marty attended Union University and played four years of baseball for the Bulldogs. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics.
After graduating, Marty returned home to Henderson, Kentucky, and joined a community bank as an Investment Officer working in the wealth management department. His experience includes economic research and portfolio construction for wealth management clients. While working in the industry, Marty realized his passion for investing and helping individuals realize their financial goals. In 2024, Marty successfully completed the CFP Board’s requirements for certification and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Marty is very involved in the community. He serves on the board of Marsha’s Place Pregnancy Resource Center and GuideStone Financial Resources. Marty and his wife Carley have a young son, James. They live in Henderson, KY, and are active members at First Baptist Church, where Marty serves as a deacon and small group leader. Marty enjoys basketball, reading, playing guitar, and watching movies.
