
Sharon Reed-Walker brings more than 35 years of corporate experience to the Donaldson Capital Managment (DCM) Board, with a career spanning finance, strategy, and mergers & acquisitions. Her professional journey includes leading complex domestic and international projects, and in recent years, she has focused on consulting for privately owned companies. Sharon has helped clients implement financial reporting systems that illuminate key profitability drivers—often remaining engaged for years and celebrating their sustained growth.
As a DCM Board Member, Sharon is excited to support the organization’s continued pursuit of excellence and growth, and to collaborate with the leadership team in shaping its future.
Beyond the Office
Sharon’s passion for financial literacy began in the late 1970s when she co-founded an investment club with a group of young professional women. That experience sparked a lifelong commitment to helping others take control of their financial futures. She continues to share her knowledge with individuals, churches, and community groups, driven by a strong bias toward action and empowerment.

A resident of Evansville for the past 25 years, Sharon is deeply committed to community service. She has served on numerous nonprofit boards, particularly during periods of organizational growth or transition. Her most significant civic role has been with Deaconess Health System, where she has served on the Board of Directors for eight years. She currently holds the positions of Treasurer, Chair of the Finance Committee, and Vice Chairwoman of Deaconess Hospital. Her board experience has strengthened her understanding of governance and its impact on organizational success.
